You can find Thornton Park just south and east of Santa Ana Gardens, south of West Warner Street. The area is bordered on the east by South Bristol Avenue. Be careful, however — if you travel just a few blocks east beyond South Bristol Avenue, you will cross over South Flower Street into South Santa Ana.
Saddleback View
Near the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center, east of Grand Avenue and west of the Santa Ana Freeway, is the small community of Saddleback View. The neighborhood of Mabury Park lies to the north across from the freeway. Both communities have relatively less crime than the surrounding areas.
Avoid Main Street if Possible
Main Street is a major north-south road that runs through several neighborhoods, including South Santa Ana. Not only this, but several fatal car crashes have happened along its length.
