About Hannah
Hannah is a recent graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Law and Society through the School of Social Ecology. Her academic and professional experiences have helped her develop a strong interest in the legal system, criminal justice, advocacy, and the ways legal processes affect individuals and communities.
During her time at UCI, Hannah worked as an Investigative Journalist Intern with Davis Vanguard, where she researched legal policies and produced more than 20 articles based on court-watch reporting. Her reporting covered issues ranging from immigration laws and discriminatory practices to bail, police body-worn cameras, victims’ rights, correctional facilities, and language barriers in legal proceedings. Through this experience, she developed strong research, writing, critical-thinking, and communication skills while gaining firsthand exposure to courtroom proceedings and the challenges individuals can face within the legal system.
Hannah also brings a diverse background in leadership and teamwork. At UCI’s IEEE Open Project Space, she served as an OPS Lab Instructor, supporting students as they learned hands-on electronics and embedded systems. She has also held leadership roles in engineering, music, and theater, experiences that strengthened her ability to remain organized, communicate effectively, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
As an Intake Specialist, Hannah enjoys being one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and helping them feel heard and supported during what can often be a difficult and unfamiliar process. She brings compassion, attention to detail, and a strong interest in the law to her work while helping gather the information necessary for attorneys to better understand each potential case.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys creative pursuits, including music and writing. She is also preparing for her long-term goal of attending law school, where she hopes to further develop her legal knowledge and eventually build a career centered on advocacy and serving others.
